I really enjoyed participating in the [AI AW podcast](https://aiawpodcast.com/) last week, hosted by Hyperight Data Club. The topic was "How to Build Autonomous AI Agents". It was a long-form video podcast, so we had plenty of time to dive into details.

Some topics covered:

- How I got into AI, from my previous work with agile coaching (Spotify model, etc), and Minecraft development.
- The story behind Abundly, both the company and the platform
- Some key milestones during the development our Agent platform - and important lessons and insights along our journey.
- The [Agent Design Canvas](https://www.abundly.ai/agent-design-canvas), and our process for co-creating agents together with our customers.
- Safety and governance
- Our metaphor and overall design philosophy for making agents - treating them more like an intern or coworker, and less like a script or tool.
- The future of work, in a world where humans and AI agents work together in teams.


Goran Cvetanovski wrote an excellent article summarizing the key points and some of his very interesting personal reflections, in case you don't want to listen or watch through the 2.5 hour session.
