Agent-first Kickstart for development teams

Diagram showing a development team using AI agents across GitHub, Slack, Notion, Cursor, release workflows and backlog management.

Build real AI agents inside your own development workflow. Start with a hands-on workshop led by Henrik Kniberg. Then a senior Abundly developer joins your team to build agents with you, using your tools, your codebase and the Abundly agent platform. Your team builds. We coach.

Who it's for

For development teams ready to move beyond AI experiments

Many teams already use AI tools. But few have made AI agents part of their daily work. Agent-first Kickstart helps your development team go from scattered experiments to working agents that support real development workflows.

Some agents may run in the tools your team already uses. Others can be built and managed on the Abundly platform, where they connect to your systems, handle workflows and work as part of your team.

Built for teams that want to

  • use AI agents in GitHub, Slack or Teams, Notion or Jira, Cursor or Claude, and internal tools
  • build selected agents on Abundly's platform
  • turn messy team workflows into useful automation
  • build agents that help with backlog, releases and developer support
  • learn by building real agents, not watching slide decks
  • keep the knowledge inside the team after the kickstart

What your team can build

Agents that help where development work already happens

Some agents live close to your code and tools. Others run on the Abundly platform and connect across systems. The exact agents depend on your team, your stack and your priorities.

Backlog agents

Turn Slack threads into clear tickets.

Release agents

Find what changed and write release notes.

Codebase agents

Help analyze code and suggest changes.

Documentation agents

Keep internal docs up to date.

Triage agents

Sort requests and route work to the right place.

Workflow agents

Connect GitHub, Slack or Teams, Notion or Jira, Abundly and your own systems.

How the Kickstart works

From first conversation to agents your team owns

A short, hands-on path. We start with what's possible, build real agents inside your team, and leave the capability behind.

1
½ day

Kick-off workshop with Henrik Kniberg

Led by Henrik Kniberg

Henrik shows what is possible today with AI agents. Hands-on and practical: real examples, current tools and what it takes to make agents useful in daily development work. You leave with a shared picture of where to start.

2
2–10 weeks

Embedded Abundly developer

A senior Abundly developer joins your team as a temporary colleague.

They bring hands-on experience from using AI agents in real software development — across code work, backlog flows, releases and internal automation.

Together, we choose a few high-value workflows and build real agents around them. Some may use tools like Cursor or Claude directly. Others are built on the Abundly platform and connected to your systems.

Your developers do the building. We guide, pair and coach.

3
For good

Your team keeps building

No black box. When the kickstart ends, your team owns the agents, understands how they work and knows how to improve them on the Abundly platform.

Why this is different

Capability inside your development team — not a vendor black box

Courses give your team theory. Consultants can deliver something your team cannot change. Agent-first Kickstart builds capability inside your development team.

Stalls after handover

Courses and consultants

A course leaves your team with theory but no working agent. A consultant leaves a working agent but no one who can change it. Either way, when things change — and they always do — progress stalls.

Keeps improving

The Agent-first Kickstart

Your people learn by building agents for their own work. They also learn how to use Abundly as a practical agent platform for workflows that need integrations, ownership, permissions and operational control. That makes the agents easier to trust, easier to improve and easier to keep alive.

What stays with your team

After the kickstart, your team has

No handover gap. No slide deck dependency. No vendor black box.

Real agents connected to your daily work

Selected agents running on the Abundly platform

Examples built on your own workflows

A shared way to design and improve agents

Developers who know how the agents work

A clear next step for scaling agent-first work
