Henrik Kniberg

Co-founder & Chief Scientist

Henrik Kniberg is Abundly's co-founder and Chief Scientist, and leads the development of our platform for autonomous AI agents. His video Generative AI in a Nutshell has passed three million views and became the book of the same name, and he is known for taking complex ideas and explaining them in a simple, visual way. Before Abundly he was a coach at Spotify and LEGO and a Minecraft gameplay designer at Mojang.

He teaches the way he works: hands-on, in small groups, with real agents built during the course. He continues to share what he learns through keynotes, videos, books, articles and courses, and appeared in the Swedish TV documentary Generation AI, which showcased Abundly’s agents and customer-focused development approach.

Background

Henrik is famous for his previous work as coach at Spotify and LEGO, and his work as Minecraft gameplay designer at Mojang. He loves taking complex concepts and explaining them in a simple, visual way that anyone can understand.

His most famous work includes the "Spotify Engineering Culture" video (known worldwide as the "Spotify Model"), the viral video "Agile Product Ownership in a Nutshell", the skateboard metaphor for product development, and live demos with ping pong balls and smiley sticky notes to demonstrate flow and focus. He has also written several books on Scrum and Agile product development, is a Certified Scrum Trainer, and cofounded GoClimate.com and Hups.com.

Henrik lives in Stockholm with his wife and four kids and a bunch of random music instruments.
