Why can't I find the top-up credits button during my trial period, even after selecting a paid plan?

This is expected behavior during an active trial period. Even if you've selected and activated a paid plan, the credit top-up functionality remains unavailable until your trial period officially ends.

Why this happens

  • Trial credits take priority: As long as you have remaining trial credits, the system treats you as being in trial mode
  • Top-up is disabled: The credit top-up button/functionality won't appear until your trial expires
  • Plan activation is deferred: While your paid plan is selected and ready, full billing features activate when the trial ends

Timeline example

  1. During trial: You select a paid plan but still have trial credits → No top-up button
  2. Trial ends: Your trial expires (e.g., Sept 7) → Top-up functionality becomes available
  3. Full access: You can now purchase additional credits as needed

What you can do

If you need more credits before trial ends:

  • Contact our support team at support@abundly.ai
  • Explain your situation (team usage, workshop needs, etc.)
  • Our technical team can manually resolve this for urgent cases

For planning purposes:

  • Note your trial end date in your account dashboard
  • Monitor your current credit usage to plan accordingly
  • Consider pausing unused agents to conserve credits if needed

When it becomes available

Once your trial period officially ends, you'll have full access to:

  • Credit top-up functionality
  • Complete billing dashboard
  • All subscription management features

This design ensures trial users get the full trial experience while preventing billing confusion during the trial period.
